Hi, my name is Trevor Jones, I live in West Sussex in the UK with my wonderful family including four beautiful horses. Back in 2002 concern about the condition of my horses’ feet led me to question conventional methods of hoof care. After considerable research I attended a three day introductory course with KC La Pierre, the course was phenomenal. I was beginning to understand the true causes of our problems.

I enrolled in the full time programme and successfully completed my diploma in May 2004. It then became apparent that our horses weren’t alone in their predicament and a rapid unexpected career change followed.

I now have a large practice covering the South of the UK and am privileged to work with many inspirational owners, trainers and horses.Through my years in the field I have become acutely aware that empowerment of the horse owner and equine professional through education is essential in the practice and the advancement of Applied Equine Podiatry, this was the driving force behind my desire to become an instructor for the IAEP.
I graduated as a Licensed Instructor in October 2008 and feel privileged and excited to be part of such a phenomenal team.

As an active alumni member I am always continuing my studies with the IAEP. In March 2011 I was awarded the IAEP Advanced Diploma in Applied Equine Podiatry.
